Fire safety assistant training in English
Duration of the training
7 lessons of 45 minutes each
Definition fire protection helper
Fire protection assistants according to the Arbeitsschutz-Richtlinie (ASR) are persons who take over the tasks of fire protection in their immediate field of activity. The assumption of this responsibility increases operational safety and, by initiating initial measures in the event of a fire, reduces personal injury and property damage.
For this reason, ASR A 2.2 requires that at least 5% of the workforce in a company be trained as fire protection assistants. In addition to the basic principles of preventive fire protection, the training also includes knowledge of the company's fire protection organization, the function and mode of action of extinguishing agents and fire extinguishers, the dangers of fires and the correct behavior in the event of a fire.
The practical handling of the fire extinguisher on the open flame is part of the training at our Fire-Trainer. Only environmentally friendly wet extinguishers are used during the extinguishing exercise, which are operated with normal water as well as compressed air.
